To ensure accuracy and ethical use of information, you are required to

reference where you information comes from.

  • Paraphrase information: put it into your own words, but keep the same meaning.

  • Synthesise information: Combine information from different places, to form new clear understandings or conclusions.

  • Use quotes

  • Don't copy chunks of information: Keep quotes short and relevant.

  • Reference using APA-7 formatting: Use "in text" citations & include a bibliography.
